The Igniting Marriages Conference

Igniting Marriages is more than a conference—it is an experience designed to help you and your spouse strengthen your heart connection, grow in your love for one another, and become more intentional about the marriage you are building together. You won't simply hear great teaching. You'll laugh, connect, have meaningful conversations, experience powerful moments together, and leave with practical tools you can use at home. Here are some of the things you'll experience:

  • Couple's Activations

    This won't be a conference where you simply sit and listen. Throughout the weekend, we'll create space for you and your spouse to put what you're learning into practice together. You'll speak intentional words of affirmation over one another, practice seeing and calling out the best in your spouse, dream together about your future, and create meaningful moments of heart connection. We believe some of the most powerful words your spouse will ever hear are the ones you choose to speak over them. These activations will help you experience during the conference what you can continue building at home—a marriage where encouragement is normal, hope is contagious, and both people are continually reminded of who they are and who they are becoming.

  • Hope for Every Season of Marriage

    Whether your marriage is thriving, needing a fresh spark, or walking through a difficult season, we believe there is more available. You'll hear honest stories from couples who have experienced challenges, growth, breakthrough, and restoration, and you'll be reminded that your current season does not have to define your future. For couples facing deeper challenges, we'll also address how to move toward forgiveness, rebuild trust, and find a path of hope and healing after betrayal, pornography addiction, infidelity, and other serious marital struggles.

    We don't just want you to leave inspired. We want you to leave equipped. You'll receive simple, practical tools for strengthening communication, increasing heart connection, navigating disappointment, speaking life over one another, believing the best about your spouse, and dreaming together about your future. The goal isn't to give you something that works for one weekend. It's to help you establish new patterns you can continue at home—patterns that strengthen your beliefs about one another and build a marriage culture of hope, honor, connection, encouragement, and love.

As an AO fellow, former board-certified foot and ankle surgeon, and instructor for the American Academy of Foot and Ankle Osteosynthesis with multiple clinical publications, Pieter is passionate about innovation and healthcare. Pieter, also holds a Juris Doctorate providing valuable insight into healthcare law and intellectual property. Pieter's vision is to develop innovative medical technologies that improve patient care and foster the next generation of purpose-driven leaders. His leadership is grounded in his faith, strong moral principles of integrity, service, and care for the local community. Pieter and his wife are passionate about seeing individuals and marriages restored and redeemed.
